alfaview’s room concept
As a professional communication platform, alfaview goes beyond individual meetings by offering a virtual company structure with departments and rooms. This allows you to replicate your structure in a virtual environment: Teams can collaborate creatively and productively from any location using their dedicated alfaview rooms, mimicking the experience of a physical office.

Rather than sending invitation links for online meetings, employees can easily move between rooms in alfaview to interact with colleagues, just as they would in “real” life. Sharing a virtual workday enhances team unity and fosters creativity, even in an online setting.

Your alfaview company
Your alfaview company is the virtual representation of your company, institution, or organization. Within this virtual company, you can establish departments, create rooms, add users, invite guests, and connect all employees, regardless of their physical work location.
Locate your colleagues using the participant list within each room or by utilizing the multi-room and interdepartmental search feature. To access frequently used rooms even more quickly, save them as favorites.
Seamlessly transition between working on site, on the go, or from home.
Rooms and departments
alfaview rooms, as virtual offices, are ideal for day-to-day collaboration, for spontaneously “stopping by” to see coworkers, and for quick coordination—just like in an on-site team office. There, your employees can work together productively and creatively. Team members are always reachable and can easily “jump” to other rooms with a single click to collaborate with colleagues from neighboring virtual offices. Group rooms into departments to establish a clear structure for your organization and simplify navigation between rooms. You can also invite guests to conferences or meet ups in your alfaview rooms at any time.
With alfaview, you can effortlessly recreate everyday office life in an online environment.
Example:
The marketing team spends the entire workday together in the “Marketing” room. Two coworkers work from the office, and three work from home. Throughout the day, members of the sales and accounting teams drop by to ask questions or have a quick chat with their colleagues.
The entire team works together in the shared virtual office at all times—without any meeting links.

Subgroups
Each alfaview room contains 50 subgroups that you can use as breakout rooms for one-on-one conversations or working in small teams.
These subgroups provide everyone with a quiet place to focus on their work without distraction.
Example:
You’re leading a workshop with 30 participants. They all start together in the main room. After a brief introduction, the participants split into different subgroups, where each group develops its own ideas. The moderator can freely switch between the subgroups, support the groups, or send them messages. At the end, everyone reconvenes in the main room, and each group presents its results.
Teams can exchange ideas without interruption, without leaving the shared work context.
Meeting rooms
Think of the meeting rooms as reservation-only meeting rooms. You can hold confidential meetings in closed, temporary rooms separate from your regular alfaview rooms. Uninvited individuals cannot see the meeting room or its participants in the room list. Meeting rooms are only created for specific time intervals, and once the meeting concludes, the room is automatically deleted and no longer accessible.
Use these meeting rooms for closed meetings or meetings that require an environment free of distractions.
Example:
A temporary meeting room is created for a client meeting. Only invited participants can enter the room or even find it. After the meeting, the meeting room is automatically deleted.
This keeps confidential discussions separate from day-to-day collaboration.
