Subscription Terms for alfaview Services

and

the customer
(the “Customer”).

1. Scope and Order of Precedence

These Subscription Terms apply in addition to the General Terms and Conditions concerning use of the alfaview services in the version valid at the time the contract is concluded.
In case of any conflict between these Subscription Terms and the General Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
alfaview’s General Terms and Conditions are binding and define the framework for use of alfaview services; the English translation is for information purposes and is based on the current official English version as published on alfaview’s website.

2. Term and Termination

  1. If the Customer has booked the free 30-day trial version, the trial period shall automatically end 30 days after first access to the services. There is no automatic renewal of a trial.
  2. The term of the subscription is specified in the order form. The agreement renews automatically for one (1) year at a time unless the contract is terminated with at least one (1) month’s written notice prior to the end of the then-current term. For monthly subscriptions, the contract renews on a monthly basis unless terminated by no later than the last day of the then-current subscription period.
  3. The right to terminate for important cause (§ 314 BGB) remains unaffected. A temporary interruption of usage does not in itself constitute cause for extraordinary termination.
  4. All terminations must be in text form (e.g., by email to info@alfaview.com) to be effective.

3. Fees and Payment

  1. The 30-day trial is provided free of charge.
  2. For paid subscriptions, alfaview receives from the Customer the fees specified in the order form or on the alfaview website as consideration for the services.
  3. Payment terms, invoicing and due dates are governed by the “Remuneration, Billing and Due Date” provisions in the General Terms and Conditions as applicable.

4. Reference to General Terms and Conditions

  1. The conclusion of a contract is governed by the section “Conclusion of Contract” of the General Terms and Conditions.
  2. The section “Rights of Use” of the General Terms and Conditions describes the usage rights granted to the Customer with respect to the alfaview services.
  3. Special provisions for trial versions are set out in the section “Characteristics of the trial version” of the General Terms and Conditions.
  4. The obligations of customers and participants (including prohibited uses) are governed by the section “Obligations of Customers and Participants.”
  5. The sections “Liability” and “Remuneration, Billing and Due Date” set out the circumstances under which alfaview may take measures against the Customer (e.g., deletion of accounts, blocking of access, or removal of content).
