alfaview stands for high-performance accessible digital communication. We aim to give people with disabilities equal access to our communication without the help of others. For this reason, special features for accessible use of alfaview are included in all plans and for all users. We have based the development of accessibility features on the international WCAG AA and AAA standards.
Videoconferencing for everyone - accessible communication with alfaview
Accessible and dark theme
alfaview provides visually impaired users with the “accessible theme”, a particularly high-contrast and motion-reduced design of the user interface that makes navigation and text readability easier. People who are sensitive to light can choose a dark design for the user interface.
Scalability and large video tiles
In addition, the font size of the user interface, private short messages, chat and live transcription can be gradually scaled to the user's needs.
Screen shares, second camera shares or video images of VIPs can be detached from the alfaview window and displayed larger in a separate window.

Screen reader support
alfaview supports screen readers in the desktop and mobile apps.
This feature is not yet available for the web client.
You can easily navigate through the alfaview app, join meetings and receive voice notifications about events during the meeting when using a screen reader.
With alfaview, you can use all standard screen reader apps such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
For more information on screen reader support, see the Support Center article “Accessibility”.
Easy navigation
The keyboard navigation allows users to operate alfaview quickly and easily without a mouse.
User-friendly keyboard shortcuts facilitate interaction with alfaview and enable quick access to operating elements. A comprehensive documentation is available directly in the alfaview desktop application and in the Support Center article “Keyboard shortcuts”.

Sign language interpreter
For hearing impaired users, sign language interpreters can be invited into the alfaview room. Visually highlighted as VIPs, they can be displayed in the gallery view in a larger video tile or in a separate window.
Live transcription
With the optional live transcription, what is spoken is transcribed in real time in a separate side bar so that people with hearing impairments can also take part in meetings and events and follow conversations via alfaview with ease.
Additional audio track via the simultaneous interpreting feature
By adding an additional audio track, audio description can be offered.
